hmm i dont no about finding love bassed on the similar liking of a band, i mean its nice if a girl likes DMB but im not gonna break up or marry her based on that

Ok, I dont know how many of you read this last time I posted it but Ill go it again. Over a year ago my now girlfriend posted on Nancies wondering if anyone who belonged to the boards was going to or already in Kent State University cuz she was going to be enrolling there the following year: http://nancies.org/boards/showthread.ph ... +AND+state I and another kid who we are both friends with now replied. We talked a little since she was still at home in high school. After school started I had a gf but we talked a little. Towards the end of my other relationship we started talking a lot, we hadnt even met but we'd stay up till 3 talking to each other on the net. Then one weekend she was going to a party so I went by and met up with her. We started hanging out more and more,I got drunk and told her I really liked her and the rest is history. Yesterday was 5 months for us, the longest Ive ever been with anyone, were both in love with each other and get along great. We have everything in common, it even turns out our hometowns are about 45 minutes away from each other so weve been able to see each other almost every weekend this summer. I couldnt ask for anything more and its pretty crazy how it all started.

it sounds kinda corny, but at least we didnt go out seeking each other, she just wanted to find a possible roomate or just have a friend when she got there. Luckily one day I got bored and decided to search a few messageboards for the key words Kent State and found that

you maybe say that it doesn't matter if a girl likes the same music that you like but it sure does perk up your ears when you find out a girl you just met like some of the same bands you like, does it not?

yeah it sure does, the fact that we like all the same music (for the most part) is great, we dont fight about what to listen to and we both get really pumped up for dave shows and all that
