8 sounds good.
there's a lot of tour to go. and i think mabe 2-3 songs more would be not unreasonable. we'll see

8...he can't release all 12 that are gonna be on the new CD (12 being the average number of songs on a Dave CD)

i said 7 because i seems logical to me to release an odd amount to the public before the cd comes out.. don't ask why, because i don't know why..
