What is the use for this button?

I see there is a "DMBtabs.com Forum Index" on all of the paiges..including the DMBtabs.coM Forum Index. What purpose does this serve?

refresh the index (the page with all of the boards on it) or go back to the index from an individual board

then why dont they just use the refresh button?

cuz the refresh button only refreshes the page youre on, the index button takes you back to the index and refreshes it showing you which forums have new posts
