the non solo part:
G-----------------------------------------------
D-------------------2-----------------------------
A----------3-----5---------5-3----3~~~----------
E---3---5------------------------5-------------
the whole part is based on the root G. thats the main gist of it. just improv off of that till you get to the solo. then the solo:
G--------------------------------------------------------------------
D------------------14-16--14--18--16--14--18--16--14------14---
A------14-16-19---------------------------------------14-----------
E---------------------------------------------------------------------
G------------------------------------------------------------
D------------------14-16--14------14----------------------
A------14-16-19---------------19--------19-16-14-19------
E-----------------------------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------------
D------------------14-16--14------14------------------
A------14-16-19---------------19--------19-16-19-------
E---------------------------------------------------------
play that with a few hammer ons and vibrations. try to play it on a fretless if you can, he really takes advantage of the fretless 'mwah' sound on this song.

yeah is an awesome song. about to try that out. by the way, heres something i was messing with - when vic does his live solo he does something similar to this sometimes. real sketchy but still fun to play:
7h9-7-0--------------------------
---------7h9-0-7h9-7-0-2-5-5-5 then i usually repeat and improvise stuff.
-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------
its not done on the cd - but if u get some live mp3s of it he will most likely do it. rough but it gets the idea down. hope that helps!
