dave plays the intro for a while, and, you can especially here this on a d and t, he goes into this part, singing "im blown away...), then he plays the jam, then he goes into the regular intro, then he places the part in question one more time, then he goes into that extended jam...

he plays the intro 11 times, then the alternate part with the a, e, g, on the 12th time, then he plays the intro 5 more times, then he plays the part you are talking about 4 times....

could i also skip boyds part if i was doin a solo performance and liek skip boyds jam and liker play the intro part a couple times and go right into the next verse?

well, you can technically do whatever you please man, just fuck around and set something up that sounds good, solo, without a band or another guitarist, takes a lot out of the extended jam, so i would just mess around with what you like until it sounds good, i think your idea is not bad, that would be cool, just dink around till you get something that would be cool solo.
