i think they're pretty good. they seem pretty simple (guitar wise) and i think that's the direction Dave's been moving in for a while, but the songs really fit the style

I can't stop listening to Joy Ride, :D I love the chorus, and I think the lyrics in that one stand out more than any of the others.
