when you use a brand new pick does anyone find they here a scrapping sound against the strings until it wears down a bit...after a good hour?

nope. I still use my picks from last year and I play everyday as well as gigs. guess Im jsut a reatard then.

ive had that happen with a couple nylon picks but nothing too bad... i dont think i have ever worn out a pick, just lost them.

I like picks better when they are brand new. They have a powder or somethin on them. I dunno I use the red Dunlop Tortex though, if that makes a difference.

I have the DMB lgo on mine. Just call Dunlop and you can get some. Not really worth it unless you buy 5 or so bags. shipping is a bitch.
