I've got a 2 piece brazillian rose wood on the 814. :)

yall know martins source of braz dried up? no explaination why, but all martin has is whats in the shop right now. after that, they might not ever get any again.

wow.. that sucks a lot.. East Indian Rosewood sounds sweet, but brazillian would kick ass on any guitar

The explanation is that it's essentially endangered, and so everyone is having trouble getting the stuff. Martin just went through it faster than everyone else; remember Bob Taylor only uses it on his Presentation Series Guitars, which as less than a hundred in number every year.

i mean theres no explanation as to why the source dried up.. it just kinda happened.

anyway, Taylor does use them on limiteds too :)
