Is it possible to hook headphones to an amp with no headphone jack. I tried the line out with no success. Any suggestions would be great.

Hey, I appreciated it. Your mixing it up, everyone says "I don't know." You're just spicing it up a bit.
I would think that if your amp isn't wired for head phones that it can't use head phones. But I'm no amp expert so...

A Line-Out is unpowered, and unless you have some good headphones, it shouldn't work.
