I think they sounded alot better on austin city limits than at the hollywood bowl

The sound on the Hollywood bowl DVD was a disaster. That and, in my opinion, Ben had a sub-par night. So far I think he's done a horrible job at picking which performances to distribute. Almost every time I've seen him live in person, he's moved me.

Not so on the releases. Which is a shame since he is such a great performer.

The guitar Im talking about has almost a natural finish with a tribal like design on it. Almost looks like a strat and may very well be but Im an idiot when it comes to electrics.

Hollywood Bowl is the only show I have seen by him but I thought it was ok. After reading these posts Im really curious to see some other shows. If someone has a better show and is willing to burn it let me know I will send DVDs.
