Smts - featuring my roommate filling dead space on lead.

Post by mbgreen »

So, I recorded a little so much to say. Im not too comfortable singing yet, so I had my roommate lay down a lead track over the recording (This song gets tired without something going on besides the rythm guitar.) Now this is a one take, un-polished deal here, but this forum has been so incredibly boring the last couple days so I thought I'd post something. Have at it.

Thanks man...I appreciate the encouragement. like I said, it was pretty imprompteau. Im actually a little embarassed because I didnt really listen to this too hard before posting, and listening again I was fuckin off beat on SEVERAL of the 10,x,7,10,x,x chord hits at the end of the long slide up...but oh well. Any other comments anyone??

EDIT: Oh, and the 2 things:

45 views and one reply? Not even a "damn, that sucked?" Come on people...if you're gonna listen, at least take two seconds to make a comment. Even if its not true, like, "wow, that was good. keep it up."

dude...that really friggin good especially considering the time you've been playing bro...to be honest, I thought the lead was ok, he's a really good guitarist, thats obvious, but it didnt really go with the song in some parts IMO...as you said it's not "perfect" but you have the rhythm bro...I would say just keep practicing the flicking of the wrists, and you will be playing it exact in no time...I really like the chorus, I dont have anything to say about that( I must say the lead went extremeley well in that part)...and dude, wheres the singing bra? peace out..

At times I thought the rhythm guitar was too low in the mix
