Yeah, I think everyone should really spend some time practicing identifying notes by ear. Anyway, if you're in standard, do this:
Hold your 6th string on the 6th fret and tune it down until that note is an A. Then your 6th string will be Eb when it's open. Now hold it at the fifth fret (Ab) and tune your 5th string down until it matches the frequency. Use the natural harmonics for accuracy, and do the same with the 4th and 3rd strings. Then hold down your 3rd string on the fourth fret and tune that 2nd string (B) down to Bb. Lastly, hold your 2nd string down at the fifth fret, and that'll be Eb, so just make you 1st string match that frequency and you'll be all tuned and ready to go. :)
