Just wondering if anyone would offer a website of software thats (hopefully free) easy to use and doesn't require you to plug into ur motherboard with a quarter-inch cable. if someone could offer somethin to me, I'd LOVE to post some stuff....thanks crew.

ehhhh it's not going to sound good unless you plug in with a quarter inch cable, but u can get a 1/4 -> 1/8 to go into the microphone port in the back of the compiter in the soundcard, very cheap at RadioShack or somethin like that.

...thats what I've been doing. I run the cable from the output of my Crate Acoustic Amp... a little better than straight into my crappy sound card haha. I've been somewhat promoting MultiTrack Studio as something free and easy to use in terms of software and recording. The website is http://www.multitrackstudio.com/index.php Like I said before, you can only record and mix up to 3-5 tracks, but theres ways around that and for posting you really don't need too many. Good Luck...
