xoosh - I liked this cover over all. Despite the overall problems with the singers voice.....he sings in key, but dosen't sing from the right place. And he sells it as a singer. Really gives it all.

I think the song could have benefited with a little less soloing.......rather......instead of soloing thru the entire thing.......every once in a while try comping along with the chorus part, and let your soloing shine in certain spots. Otherwise it seems like it just sort of rambles on.

Don't get me wrong, I think your a great guitarist, and definetly know your stuff, but just backing off a bit and making every note say something, would benefit your playing greatly.

i was wonderin where the hell you were...

as for the soloing.. i completley agree.. these two posts were the first and only times we did these songs and i hadnt played plush ever before so i ended up figuring out the key on the spot and #41 solo was just done as it came so... no excuses though you're quite right about that :) just a little justification on my part. if we do ths live, im going to end up simply doing a lil intro solo and some on the chorus and a lil outtro.

I completely agree with greg here, solos are a great compliment to a song, but they only compliment it in the right places if you know what I mean. Like tim isn't constantly playing solo riffs throughout the whole song, he may be playing other rythm riffs that gel with daves riffs, but not really single note soloing the whole time. He'll only full out solo when theres a designated part of the song for him to shine. Other than that it was good!
