hey y'all

my girlfriends friend gave me a burned cd with various live performances of songs from the lillywhite sessions. I believe these are from the summer 2000 tour. there's a song that i think is the shit but i don't know what it's called. something about, "speak of the devil"

There is no song by that title. JTR mentions the Devil in it. I believe if you go on the main page of here, there are lyrics for the lillywhite songs.

"speak of the devil" was not the title, its a phrase in the lyrics. No definatley not JTR...thanks anyway

the only ones i can think of with "devil" in them are JTR, Reconcile our Differences, some devil, and thats it so far, i'll keep looking though

Um, guys, a clue about the 2000 tour:
IMPROV LYRICS
Dave didn't have any set lyrics for a lot of the songs:

JTR
Grey Street
SU&D
Digging a Ditch
Raven

^these are the ones played live without set lyrics in 2000

My best guess is that Raven is the song he is thinking of. That song was insane with lyrics. Every version of it til Busted Stuff was 80% different. The next best guess is SU&D.

thanks for all your input people. Unfortunatley it's not raven, it's not bartender, its not what you are (but those lyrics would fit well). I'll try to find someone to help me post an audio clip. It's got kind of a dark vibe to it. all i can make out is something about "speak of the devil" THIS IS DRIVING ME NUCKING FUTS trying to figure this out.
