Sorry guys i know you're probably sick of all my damn covers! but i keep learning new songs and i get all excited and i just have to do this!! anyway... here it is

sounds good, you definitely have the guitar down well. the only thing i have to say is that during the verse riff, after you play it, you're missing the pick scratches that dave plays. nothing big, but it would improve the overall sound if you learned those and put em in there. other than that, the guitar sounds great. and your voice sounds good, and within a couple weeks im sure i will finally be able to think of who your voice reminds me of, but until then, congrats....

Sorry, but I got homework so I'm gonna keep it kinda short. Vocals were real nice, haven't heard your covers before so it sounded pretty damn good. One little really nittpicky thing I noticed was during the verse with the 8/10 slide, it sounded like you didn't really mute it after. It's just something really small and barely noticeable, but I just learned the song as well and have been playin it all week. Anyway, overall good solid cover in all aspects. Cya

yeah i kno about the muting on the 8-10 slide, i didnt use a pick, for a softer effect, but yeah, i have trouble with that!! pisses me off! whenever i do the mute some other string always rings out or sumthin, so i just stuck to what i had, sorry about that!

pretty good bro...I would say to work on that main riff though, as the muting is the key...you have a great ear, for what it's supposed to sound like...just need to practice...good singing, went off key sometimes, but you have a good strength behind it...great job bra.

Great job. Your timing is really good. One thing with your singing, you sing well. However, if your aim is to sing like dave you should try to "crack" your voice. When you make a change from a lower to higher or vice versa it sounds like you slide up or down the scale. Where as dave tends to "crack" from one note to the other. I don't know if it's really supposed to be called cracking, thats just what it sounds like to me. Similar to yodeling. I've listened to a few of your tracks, I think if you got that technique down your stuff would sound very close to daves. Again great work.

i know what you mean, but not everyone wants to sound just like dave. myself, and nancies from what i can tell, like to sing in our natural voices instead of trying to sound like somebody else.

Yeah that's cool, didn't know if he was goin for the "Dave" sound or not. I don't really consider the technique to be just Dave's. The "crack/yodel" is very prominent in country music. Anyway, Nancies, if you're interested in the technique, it is learnable. I've been singing since I was 6 and it took me a bit but I got it down pretty decent (within my own ability of course).
