Dave strings.....Incorrect?

This sight says Dave uses EXP15 extra lights. If you're an avid reader of Guitar World Acoustic, there's an add for D'Addario EXP with Dave on it. According to the add, it says he uses EXP16's which are lights.
IM CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suppose it does matter to some extent, since this author of the post wants to know.

I wish I could help. It might be possible he has an agreement with Taylor and D'Adarrio.

He has several guitars. He probably uses several types/brands of strings for different sounds.

nowhere in the original post did he say he wanted to play exactly lke dave. he just said that he found some information that that was overlapping

According to Dave's guitar tech, dave uses the D'Addario Light's, and has switched to the EXP version of them since they came out.

Really, how much difference does it make? Like 'Ricky the Pilot' said, he's probably got different strings on all his guitars. So what is one gauge difference between 2 different sites gonna even matter?
For all we know, he could be using elixers....

Just go to http://www.daddario.com, in the artist acoustic series they list the DM strings. Thet are at least the one Dave is "officially" using.
