Seek up cover.. (new member)

This is a version of Seek Up I recorded..not the exact chords...I "dumbed" them down for a fuller sound. Tell me what you think, no matter what it is. Thanks
(There are a few screw ups,...was too lazy to re-record)

the guitar playing sounded good for the most part
the vocals were decent at first, but it sounded like your voice got really really tired at the end.
some key problems especially around 4:30 or so.

my recommendation would be to try to relax your throat when you sing. try to make the sound come from your lungs, not your throat and mouth (if you can imagine that)

you seem like you have a lot of potential, and it was pretty good to start off, but it started going downhill when you got tired.

maybe this isn't what you were goin for, but i think you were trying to sound like dave, and we all do it sometimes by mistake, but its probably not the best thing to do for your voice, his got that way cause of all the drugs and what not
guitar sounded really solid, but i think you were kinda off with your voice, try singing along with a track of dave doin it, and try and hit his pitches, or work with a tuner, that helps too

It seems like staying on pitch is something you could work on. The whole thing is a bit flat or sharp.

Dave's voice isn't from that mostly, in my opinion. I believe it's just from years and years of performing shows..

the guitar is pretty good...but the voice is weak. you're very out of key in some places and it sounds sort of like kermit the frog. i'm not saying this to be mean, i'm just pointing it out. work on your voice..maybe some lessons? but keep up the good work with the guitar!

yeah dave's voice has "matured" or even say "aged" if you want over the years, but no one else sounds like him, and one big reason why is the drugs, especially the harder stuff that he probably doesn't do anymore

Yes, such as dragons, as trippin' billies says, he smoked. Dragons from what i've read here on the boards is weed laced with acid.. so yeah, dave has done a lot of drugs
