Well, all the recording is now done :D It should air sometimethis week (OSW, #41) and for the kicker, TS next week!

I'm getting a VHS copy of both, and even of my shot in the talent show (The Stone)...

...now I just need to find a way to get it from VHS to my computer...withought spending loads of money (say, under $30)

make friends with someone at a local college. some departments have a lot of cool A/V offices and can do that kinda stuff for real cheap (i.e. i don't think their even allowed to be expensive). For example I had some NTSC -> PAL conversion done by some chick that worked for the Architecture school at my college. just a thought

ive seen a video capture thing where you put in the tape which is connected to the computer and you use adobe premiere to record it... i dont know how much it costs though.

OK FIredancer, so I was in CompUSA today and saw a product by Adaptec called Vide OH. It takes a vhs tape and puts it on a CD ($70.00) or DVD ($180.00)...I'm assuming in some kind of MPEG format.

It looked like what you need to get this performance out to the DMBTabs community...you have no more excuses (just kidding...would like to see it though).

UPDATE_>>>

hey man, I saw they VIDEO to CD deal in a magazine recently...

OK...here is the deal...as for...>>>

#41 and OSW...GOT IT!
I played through a lame PA and the recording is sappy on video...but by far the best of the 4 recordings of me that were on TV...

The Stone...never got to see it...I did this one on stage solo for about 400 people...it went over well, but I never got to see it!!!

Typical Situation...NEVER GOT TO SEE IT! Supposedly, it was mixed horribly...my vocals are almost missing!

Neon and one of my Original jams...I did this for the Battle Of the Bands, and HAVE THE RECORDING...it is from somebody in the back...the shots are grainy and bad quality, and the audio is so hideously mixed through the VHS recorder, that I would never want to see it again...

all were on MD television...channel 15...=(...no more though...

so unles you guys want to send some funding (lol) to see some realy bad quality recordings, it is not gonna happen too soon...unless I get another break

Thanks for the interest and support though

Well done Fire. Sounds like you have control of your stage fright. Any tips on overcoming this terrible affliction. I have a pretty bad case of it and I would like to start playing for strangers.
