Good Guitar Stores in NYC

Post by ZionSiva »

Hi all, I'm new here. Very good site, really, and nice community as I can see.
I'm going to NYC for a week, and I look forward to check some guitar shops to browse cool effects for my electric as well as offers for an acoustic guitar, since i haven't one and I really would like to find a nice one, now more than ever because of my recent infatuation with DMB.
I'm looking for good place for browsing and some cool shops with grat displays and rare guitars, just to look. And then some place to find good offers, either for new or used guitars.
Thanx in advance!

I call 48th and B'way "guitar row" a lot of nice guitar stores. Mandolin Brothers on Staten Island is great, a small store with a lot of guitars (beautiful guitars).

If you like Martin's the factory is about 1.5 hours outside NY and a pretty nice tour.

If you want PM me and I'll give you my email and phone if you have any questions while you are in NY.

Mandolin Brothers is a MUST if you go to NYC. Just take the State Island Ferry over which is free. I went there in December and could have played there all day. Brind your Visa!!!
