thanks for the comments though guys.
DON'T DO IT!!!!
One song is always gonna sound similar to another no matter what you do. If it's really obvious then change it a little but don't just drop it.
I had it on repeat for like 5 minutes.

haha, i won't really.

i just might have to tweak some things if it sounds that similar.
the thing is that i think when i rewrote one part (:21) DR DR was playing in the back of my head. which sucks. but i think thats the only thing (to me at least) that sounds like it. i had gotten into this style before i had ever heard the song.

wow good tune, I love the guitar work. Sounds like a Keller Williams song. But Keller is the fucking man, so that is a good thing. Keep it up

really nice work you have here - I agree keller williams is awesome. It definetly has a driving force, motivation, hard to explain. It almost feels like a decision of sorts and the movement in proceeding. Thanks for sharing your work, really nice - an inspiration (pat is it?)

That's amazing, man. It's amazing you're 15, as well. You must have been playin' since you were three. Heh.
I think it would be interesting to hear what it would sound like with a well-written snare drum track behind it... with a lot of rolls and build-ups.
Definitely top-grade work here.
