ive always been a slide guy but it all depend on the song. my original stuff is full of slides but of late ive been hammerin like a mofo.

I love B harmonic minor, scale that timmy uses in the solo for nancies/L@LC. Sexy as hell.

my guitar buddy says hammer ons and slides sound the same..so he uses whats easier..the slacker..

Hmmm...thats a pretty ignorant statement.

They're both stylistic devices, one isn't "better" than the other.

If they're both the same I would like hear him play with slides as fast as he can play with h.o. I would also like to hear him play SMTS using h.o. instead of slides.
