I dont know about anyone else but i love messin around with making up solos while I listen to dave songs, but its hard to becuase I am not sure what key some of his songs are in. If anyone knows the keys to any of his songs feel free to post them. I am a long time reader of this forum but just recently figured out how to post :roll: So if you would like to share your knowledge please do. I'm sure im not the only one who will appreciate it.

do a search for keys, youll find plenty of results, and even a few debates about which key songs are in.

Usually the first and/or last chord in the song is the key of the song. Otherwise just mess around, find out what sounds right, and see what scale(s) those notes are in. And remember that every major key has a relative minor that is three half steps down, so both scales work on that
