What to listen to other than Dave???

Post by pharmacist25 »

I have become somewhat tunnelvision'ed on my music listening. I want to branch out some, but literally all I have wanted to listen to for the past 2 years has been Dave. Can anyone make any similar suggestions as to to some other music selections that would have good acoustic sounds. My wife keeps giving me a hard time about my car full of DM shows and that its all I listen too.

TIA

i listen to a lot of bands, but these best are:

phish
bela fleck and the flecktones
radiohead - very good acoustic songs even though the studio versions are not, look for "the complete acoustic sessions"

for classic rock:

led zeppelin
pink floyd

CWM has a great list, but, if you want someone you haven't heard before, I highly recomend a band called Buchanan (not Roy), their new cd "All Understood" is fantastic.

...plus, they are very poor and need recogniton.

Are the complete acoustic sessions a bootleg, or a cd?

you too eh?

I feel ya bro, I've been getting shit about it for years(friends/family/girlfriends)

Fuck it, Dave's the best and we all know it. As for other music, I recommend John Mayer, Pearl Jam, Led Zep, Jimmy Hendrix.

is that radiohead available for purchase or would I just have to find it on kazaa or something?
