OSW Question...

A while back i heard a copy of a dave performance of OSW. It was solo, and he played through the intro a couple of times before getting into the song, something i've never heard him do when playing OSW solo. Bottom line, anyone know where i can get a copy of this? It's sweeeet.

Uh, this site has the Intro to One Sweet World, just go to the hompage and click on the Remember Two Things album then click on One Sweet World.

the show i have is at the backstage tavern in ballard, wa. 07/01/94. the bootleg is called jimi thing and its a double cd. setlist:
disc 1 disc 2
one sweet world(w/intro) tripping billies
warehouse all along the watchtower
the song that jane likes satellite
dancing nancies ants marching
pay for what you get i'll back you up
lie in our graves jam(recently)
jimi thing/seek up(fucking awesome) believe

another show i have with a really good osw intro is in ny. 07/28/94. the bootleg is called ridding the rhythm. that jimi thing show kicks ass though.

is jimi thing/seek up one track???? I think I may have that same cd. And does that Recently have the pretty pretty girl/take me to the river part in it??? Cuz if its the same cd you have, that is the best version of Recently I've ever heard.

hey BigSpeen3436, yeah that is definetely the same show. i love the way dave grooves into seek up from jimi thing. and the satellite intro for his friend, thats a great recording to get your satellite intro down on. that whole show kicks ass....pay for what you get!

I love how before AATW dave says "this particular selection is not one of our own. It is a little by Bob Dylaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan." And the Jimi Thing into seek up is pretty damn sweet.
