Can anyone identify the funk chord that Dave uses to fill in Ants Marching during the violin solo on the live versions over the last few years? I'm thinking it's a 9th chord, but I'm not totally sure. He slides up somewhere between the 7th-12th frets to play this funk chord, but I just can't put my finger on it. Any experts out there know what it is? You can hear it in the Piedmont Park versions and others during Boyd's jam. It's such a great filler and sounds similar to the chords used in Anyone Seen the Bridge (I don't know what these are either but they are great funk fills) Let me know!
