I've found that this sounds better for standard tuning.

yeah it does sound pretty good. It mimics the high to low sound of the bass notes on the intro chords. different notes though.

I've always liked playing it this way better, it's tougher, cuz of the 1->4 scretch, but the 2002xx sounds better than the xx0232. The standard D chord sounds rather trebley, very much unlike the album.
