Can anyone help me with the solo to "Nutshell"? I can play the whole thing, its a pretty easy solo but there one section on it that's screwing with me.
It in the begining of the solo where your doing the 9-8 and you go into the bend on 10bstring, but then you hit 10estring. Do you bend the first 10b with your pinky and then just lay your pinky over the 10e or is there a diffrerent way to finger it. i'm more comfertable just laying my pinky over the 10e but i just can't smooth it out right. If anyone has the tab book maybe you'd understand better by looking at the book while reading this.

well I use my ring finger to bend and my pinky for the 10 on e
hope it helps just fuck around with it thats how i got it

Hey, that works great. I don't know why i was trying to play the whole thing with my pinky, my hands aren't even small. I guess i'm still trying to get a technical grasp on the blues scale

Thanks though, i've definetely smoothed out that solo. Now on to the "got me wrong" intro solo, the one that lays over the intro

I love Rooster. I heard that song was about the drummers uncle who was nicknamed "Rooster" in Vietnam. I love playing nutshell, and Over now.. The tuning for overnow is real cool..

Yeah, i love that style. It seemed to be big in the 90's, but not so much these days.

yeah RIP. Mikee you should try that its not too hard and it will give you a good feel. get the tab book and work on them they are a very cool band and this album is very nice to play.
