Dave's child was a stillborn?

Before one of you knows something I don't and decides to be a prick, YES, I RAN A SEARCH.

Anyway, heard some gossip (yeah, I know, it's bad) that one of Dave's children was a stillborn and a few of his songs deal with that. True? Am I an ass for even asking?

I doubt it.. i've never heard a thing like this before.. the only thing i've heard about daves kids are he has twins.. i think that if he did have a stillborn, it's none of our buiness really..

I believe you're referring to Stefan's child that passed away. People think that Dreaming Tree was written for him.

Hmmm? I have never heard of either Dave's or Stefan's child being a still born. That's sad though if it is really true.

Yes, stefan's child was stillborn. They took 2 weeks off from touring back in i believe 95 or 96 to mourn the loss of his child

I imagine that the rumor was about Stefan's, as others have already pointed out. If Dave actually had one, I think the press would have been all over the pregnancy.

That would so suck to have a stillborn baby and have the press all over it. Thats why dave mentions almost nothing about his life at home.

I think it's great that Dave mentions nothing of his home life. Sometimes the press goes a little too far with people.

All the more reason to give his wife and daughters as normal a life as possible.

All I know is that his wife ashley goes to the UW medical center for internship in neuropathic medicine or something like that. My dad teaches psychiatric residents there and knows some docs that work with her.

i'm sorry, but this is the second time in the last week something like this has been said

when i mention to someone to try running a search, i am saying it because it took me a few a times to learn that the search function is often more helpful than just plain asking

it is also nice for someone to not have to answer the same question multiple times either

i am not responding like this to scold you or anything, i am just saying that i don't understand why it has to be taken as such a negative thing if someone suggests using a search...as long as they answer your question, i guess i fail to see the problem
