new guitar..

hey guys

i'm looking at getting a new guitar, probably acoustic/electric, and was wondering what some suggestions for good guitars in the 700-1000 range would be. also, is the epiphone version of the chet atkins worth looking at?
and i saw a 12 string taylor for 900 at my local guitar center, just wondering if anyone had expierence with this? just looking for some general ideas really..

Get a six string before a twelve and if you have a six string get the Taylor twelve. God I miss my twelve string it made me happy.

yea, i already have a 6 string, i've been playing for about a year, sorry i didn't make that clear. thanks

taylor 12 strings usually have really nice tone. If you can get it for a little less than 900, i would go for it!

Not to mention the fact that Taylor's 12s play better than Martin 6ers.

yup... a Taylor 12 is like heaven in a guitar
