Coolest Cameo

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

You guys mentioning Bela made me wonder...was it him who played banjo on BTCS? I feel like it wasn't, but I can't remember...
Anyways I think I'm gonna go see him on Thursday, should be awesome.

Yep thats him. I never would have described the banjo as being beautiful until I heard his solo on Spoon.

Anyone (Matty? ) want to take the initiative of making a list of songs we'd like to have for this, and versions we have of that song with other artists? That way other people could reply and fill in what they have, and we could narrow down the songs with multiple versions. maybe something like

#41 - vic wooten
john popper
bela fleck & warren haynes

Grey Street - bela

Crash - none

Say Goodbye - none

All along the watchtower - Big Bird & Mickey Mouse

etc...

(not saying this is the list, just giving an example -- dave has not in fact played with big bird) :D

Computer Mic

"Ah, music - the joy the mind derives from counting without being aware that it is counting" - Leibniz

"Celebrate we will, for life is short but sweet for certain" - Dave

thats gonna be a long list, man

youd be better off to check dmbalmanac.com and click on the guests tab, there have been a million people to play with dave, and the majority of them are accesible online in one way or another

Wooten
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
