Trading my guitar in, what's it worth?

Post by boarderboy7777 »

I'm getting a sweet deal on a Washburn acoustic guitar, and I'm going to trade in my Yama FG-335 to take a little off the price. The guy selling it to me is giving me a great deal, but I want to know how much my guitar is really worth. It is a Yamaha FG-335, medium use, a couple minor dings.

Thanks!

It's worth what you can get for it on Ebay. Give it a shot.

Well here's the deal. This Washburn retails for around $250. The guy lent one out to someone who didn't like it and returned it. Thing is, there are a couple scratches on the pick guard so he can't sell it for new and will sell it to me used for $160. He also offered $60 for the Yamaha, bringing the total to $100. I just want to know if the guitar is worth more than $60...

I dont really know, but $60 dosnt sound that bad. A guitar store will always give you less than what its worth, because they have to go around and sell it to make some kind of profit. Ask him for $80 and see what they say...
heres a FG-335 on ebay, follow it for a few days and see what it gets up too:
