I'm probably going to hold off on making a 3rd CoW until interest starts peaking up again. It was fun while it lasted and thanks to everyone who participated and voted.

Dammit. I'm gonna be playin LIOG in my english class with a kid I know. He is in the process of learning the Dave part so we will have to jam a bit together to get it down. Sorry for being an ass again Isaac, but I don't think I will have time to do this one, or the next.

it's all right, speeny. if you get the time i'd love to get a submission from you, but this thing will keep going.

by the way, redoing the site and with the new design i should be able to put lyrics on there easily and i wouldn't mind hosting. would you guys like that? it'd be better than posting an off-site link or whatever.

i could link it to the left pane or a new window. whatever you guys feel would be best.

Yeah thats a cool idea bro. Is it cool if we submit lyrics but no vocals? I dunno bout you but I don't think it would be best on my behalf to sing an original for my first vocal debut.

i think its best to debut with an original. swaht i did. this way i can control how badly i play and sing. this way i can say yeah i was supposed

to be off key there, and that weird note is supposed

to ring out there! lol!

it's not a contest, it's an exercise!

here's the reason for the secrecy:
It'll ruin the surprise and might change someone else's mind and direction on the originals they're working on.

I contemplated and found it would be better to just post everything at once instead of scattered throughout all the week. I actually finished my song tonight, but i'm holding it off. I just think it's a lot more fun to hear everything in the end.

But this isn't my project, I'm just coordinating it. hehe. if other people feel that it'd be best to just post a link in the thread, i can change the rules, but everyone will have their own interpretations of the titles and it's better to keep that interpretation clear of possible distractions.

or something.

I had a nasty sore throat this weekend, and I still have it, so I won't be able to compete this week.

My musicianship isn't good enough to hold its own instrumentally. I'll be back next week though!
