Yeah, no f***ing kidding.Matty Boom wrote:i would hope for 5k, there would be some kind of 10 day period for which they could return it or something2StepGranny wrote:I'm not sure what it's list price was when it came out, but the reason for the drop in the price is, you don't know how banged up it is, granted they put picture up of it, but they could leave something out, and could sound like shit when you get it. Dave hasn't lost his appeal, and it shouldn't drop in value that much, but possibly paying it's list price for someone that has used it and has put some kind of wear on it, I would be a little upset if I was the one buying it.

I believe the DM3MD came out at a list price of some where around $2,500; maybe a little more or less.
They will sell fairly easilyat around $4,000. A VERY good deal now days would be $3,500. Just recently in the last year and a half they have spiked up in price with several selling in the $5,500 to $6,000 range.
Alot of people are buying these thinking they are going to get rich off them....buy it and put it away for a couple of years and then sell it for twice the price.
I could never make money off of that guitar, because when (notice I said when) I buy one, I'm gonna play the s*@t out of it

Your on for that 5 bucks
I think the only reason this one didn't sell last time was because anther dm3md came on a couple days later with a buy it now of 5100 or something. Then a couple days later it was gone. 5k is not that much to pay for a guitar. Crap I see people pay almost 1000 bucks just to see dave one night with there girlfriend. That would be like someone paying 100 bucks to play this guitar for 30 minutes. The point being people shell out cash all the time for guitars and I have seen very few new acoustics with such high demand to supply. Currently a good investment.

That's what the PayPal buyers protection is for. But this guy isn't covered by that, so I don't think I'd deal with him unless he agreed to do that.Matty Boom wrote:i would hope for 5k, there would be some kind of 10 day period for which they could return it or something2StepGranny wrote:I'm not sure what it's list price was when it came out, but the reason for the drop in the price is, you don't know how banged up it is, granted they put picture up of it, but they could leave something out, and could sound like shit when you get it.
