I mean, I can see people paying $5000 for it new, but used, I don't think anyone will pay anything more than $3500 or so. And it would have to be in excellent condition. Just my opinion. ;-)

The last 2 listed never sold. Not even 1 bid. The one on ebay right now is a repeat of one of those 2...and he lowered the initial bid from the time before.

Yep, he'll keep learning too when people don't put a single bid on it ;-) Get it to what I stated above, and then he might get response, but until he does, I really doubt that he'll get any luck with it :?

I'm just saying that he might get a bid if he made it that. Setting the Buy it Now at $3000, I think he would get rid of it in a day, but that's just what I think. What he wants for it now is insane.

He needs to set the starting price low, like $1,000, set a reserve and a buy it now above the reserve. The low start would attract bids and get it going. And if it doesn't reach the reserve then he can choose not to sell it or offer it to the high bidder at reserve, but atleast put it low enough so people will bid on the fucker.

EDIT: But apparently he is in no hurry to sell it, I sure wouldn't be.

I'm not sure what it's list price was when it came out, but the reason for the drop in the price is, you don't know how banged up it is, granted they put picture up of it, but they could leave something out, and could sound like shit when you get it. Dave hasn't lost his appeal, and it shouldn't drop in value that much, but possibly paying it's list price for someone that has used it and has put some kind of wear on it, I would be a little upset if I was the one buying it.

Well it has one bid on it now. The bider was already denied by the seller once for have no feedback, but placed another bid 2 hours later. Let's see how this plays out. $5 says it doesn't sell.
