I vote for a song-"inspiration"-title...(or for two) and whichever title "wins"...people write a song which is kinda related to that title - right?

you got it pretty much correct, except the song will need to be completed about a week after voting is done, depending on when isaac wants it turned in. hope that makes sense.

Yes. The title is used as a source of inspiration, and it's your choice whether you want it to be an instrumental, used as a lyric, etc. etc., but it has to be "inspired" somehow by the titles, or somewhat related. Last week someone wanted to submit their original that they had written and I had to decline them because it was not based off of this "exercise."

No no, that'd be crazy! Would only give people a few hours, and I'm not that cruel of an asian despite popular opinion . The title of the exercise is "CoW" i.e. Create an original in a Week, so you'll have roughly a week to do it. People still have a couple hours to vote, and once voting is done and the final titles are decided, I'll post up a new thread explaining the deadlines, rules, etc.

I did, actually. I borrowed some I made from the previous week and added one or two this week. No one's submitted any titles yet since it seems everyone's happy with the choices, but submissions are welcome. It's best to submit them early on so that'll give chance to vote, and votes can be withdrawn and placed towards other titles, as previously stated in the original post.

Other people can vote. It can help and hurt, but other people were planning on writing a song and couldn't last week, it's fine. It'll help in tie breakers, or at least that's what I'm hoping for.
