when i click on the aim thing to see what peoples screen names are it brings me to an error page.

not sure which version of aim, but it brings up a screen saying theres an error and it has a bunch of lines of code and stuff like that.

First, upgrade to the newest version of AIM. It works fine with the aim:// links. (you can get it at aim.com). If it still doesn't work, then give the EXACT (word-for-word) error message it gives, including the lines of code (just copy and paste)

it opens up an outgoing IM to the specified person with the message "hello are you there"

ok i put my aim name in my profile and i clicked the aim button and it worked, then i tried kanter and it worked too... i wonder why it wouldnt work before.
