He's going to be in a movie called "Because Of Winn-Dixie" which will come out in 2005. It stars Jeff Daniels (Dumb & Dumber, Speed) and is a comedy/drama/family movie about a 10 year old girl who re-kindles her relationship with her father.

He was also in another movie called Where The Red Fern Grows that came out in 2003 with Dabney Coleman (remember Drexler's class?) and Ned Beatty (the guy who got raped in Deliverence). I have no idea how you would go about seeing this movie, as I have never heard of a theater that has played it.

You know, you guys could just go to the links and find this. It says that Winn Dixie is supposed to come out in 2005, and Dave is listed very first in the cast of WTRFG, so I'm thinking just maybe he has a big part.

Well guess what? I haven't seen the movie either. I was referring to the link that winglet gave to imdb.com, which lists the cast, and yes, Dave does have a very large part, I believe one of 3 main characters.

anyway, the dad is probably the biggest part in the movie. may not have the most lines, but has the biggest impact. Hed have to do a good job of acting to fill that space
