good point steve. and i don't think it's a matter of him purposely trying to learn crazy ass solos...you just sort of get good at guitar..then you get better..and it comes naturally. at least that's what happened with me, and i'm assuming that's the basic idea. guitar is a skill..you constantly better yourself at a skill when you do it all the time, it's common sense. i can't really tell you the point of this post because i can't put it into words. this is weird. speechless.

just because a musician doesn't know music thoery doesn't mean you can't apply theory to their music.

thats what music theory is numbnuts, you can use it to explain any kind of music
