Talent show..

Well my friend and I were going to play Tripping Billies for the talent show, but now we cant because the lyrics are not appropriate. We kind of figured we probably couldnt play it, damn Catholic schools. So now my brother came up with a good idea. What about playing a tease of Crash--> Africa howie day version? I think it'd be awesome. I just want to hear your alls opinions. Talent shows in a week or so.

Well, the main guy who is in charge of it is my old speech teacher. He and I used to get into some arguements about Dave Matthews and his talent abilities. Hes not the biggest DMB fan

. So we were already kind of screwed on that and hes not stupid enough to not check lyrics on him, but oh well..

Do you really think he knows what "Tripping Billies" really means? But, here's a nice way you could edit it that would please your catholic school.

what exactly is bad about tripping billies? no fucks or shits, and not too racey

just tell him that davids psalms are way more hardcore.

Or better yet, submit one of davids psalms as lyrics, without letting him know what it is, then when he rejects it tell him that its a psalm, he'll have to let u play billies.

Well unless he specificly knows its about taking acid, then its pretty hard to figure it out from the lyrics. The rest of the song just sounds like hes partying it up.
