Trippin', you're absolutely right. I for one, have not been critiquing peoples covers as well as I should be. I just like listening to them and I tell them that I listened to it and I liked it. sometimes I point out a few specific things that I liked and might point out a thing or two they can work on. I generally don't like to criticize (anything negative at all) because I don't want to discourage them, and although they may say they want the truth, they're not gonna like negativity at all. I guage they're covers on how long they've been playing the guitar, how long they've been playing dave. so on a certain scale, it might be a good job. so even if its not very good, I'll say good job because they've only been playing for like 8 months or whatever. I dunno, just some random thoughts. some people are very good at giving critiques (xoosh, ticohans, firedancer, etc.) others aren't so great (me) so I guess we just have to be respectful and truthful at the same time (if that's possible) when giving your thoughts on someones cover. anyway, later dudes!

I don't know how to post good critiques because I don't know when people are off or not, I guess I just don't have a good ear for that stuff. But I always try to give my opinion on the singing or something.
