Alright I searched perty good for what I am looking for, and didn't see it. So if it has been posted before, sorry but I missed it. Thanks!
What I am wondering is how YOU play YBIAW? Also, how does JM play it? I am wondering if I should finger the E on the 10th fret with my thumb or middle finger? I guess what is the easiest way to play it? Thanks for any help.
Mayer uses his thumb on the prechorus but doesn't use his thumb for the bass notes in the verse or chorus. For the bass notes use your 1st finger (pointer) for the 8th fret A string and 8th fret E string, use your 2nd finger (middle) for the 10th fret E.

For the bridge I just messed around with this chord (keep in mind another guitar was playing as well, so it wasn't too boring sounding)
