DAVE FESTIVAL!!!!!

What exactly is this festival gonna be? Just a concert? What is the big deal about it?

i have no clue what exactly they are going to do at the festival. but i hope dave shows up to play a private concert. he probobly will, considering its his official fan club.

they should have a section with mics and have a competition for dave covers too. ooooooo yeah, tha'd be so sweet

I'm kind of bummed that its up in new york, esp. after they got the amazing central park show...i'm still gonna try to make it though. I wonder what the format of it is going to be.

I think it's the icing on the poop...er, cake I mean. Good things happen in threes, Dave and Tim tour (east coast), Central Park (but for a very good benifit and charity I might add, I'm not heartless) and why not the freaking festival too. I voted for the Gorge, of coarse, but I'd rather it be in Cuba before New York. But, those who can make it, have a great time, take lots of pictures for the rest of us.

Even though it would be thousands of miles away from me, I personally would have rather it been at the Gorge......I mean it was kind of going that route by itself anyway, and it has all the magical ingredients of an awesome time.

That being said, to me a festival means camping, etc., which is always fun.....and I can't see that happening in "metropolitian NYC", upstate certainly, but not NYC.

Just my $0.02

I agree that the Gorge does have the perfect setting for something such as this. I really don't see how they could think anything different, huge camp ground, on the edge of the Columbia River Gorge....I get goose bumps just think about it.

But maybe they have taken this into consideration with the New Yorks venue, I mean, thay haven't said it's going to be IN the city have they?
