Yeah, so for a Spanish project, I have to teach how to play the guitar in Spanish. The presentation has to be 3 minutes long. I'm not quite sure where to start. I mean, I figure I'll name the parts of the guitar, how many strings, but then what? Do I go into ver basic guitar theory? Do I just start jamming to DMB songs? Should I bother learning Spanish tunes? HELP~!
Oh, and if any of you guys are fluent in Spanish and feel like writing this for me, I'm SURE there is some way I could repay you.
i wouldnt go into theory too much. just say that building chords and what not are the same as any other instrument. you should def. learn a spanish song and sing alittle in spanish. this will get you some points.
tell about how you can play diff notes. and then show notes in diff positions, then show how notes go togehter to form chords. explain a bit about acoustics and how it magnifies the sound. tell about string vibrations, tuning.
and then finally bring it to a conclusion and play a quick little song icorperating many guitar techniques (i.e. chord sturmmng, note picking, a slider , bend, vibrato. etc)
just my opinion
by the way, i'm not fluent in spanish, but i took it for almost 4 years. so i could help you a bit maybe. i dont' know how good you are
