Shortening shows?????????????

so i'm a little ticked off right now. i was just on dmbalmanac looking at the setlist for my first show to see what the side notes and stuff were, and i noticed the little button on the side. so i clicked it and low and behold the setlist that goes in front of the band members pops up.

so i'm looking it over, and it says:

TWO STEP (SHORT)

wtf?? they planned that song to be short??? i knew the didn't jam it out, but i didn't know it was planned. then on top of that, in between that amazing warehouse, ants, watchtower run to end the encore (increidble energy, incredible) they had pay for what you get written down. but they didn't play that!

i understand that the venue had a curfew or something....but what the hell. they fucked us a little bit. short two step AND no PFWYG. anyone else got any experiences like that?

boo fucking hoo, why dont you go ask for your money back. i'm sure the band will understand that you wanted to hear something that they play all the damn time

Josh, it was my first show. i'm sure you've heard all these before, but i mean, i haven't. But whatever, i had a blast. best time i've ever had at a concert.

Josh, it was my first show. i'm sure you've heard all these before, but i mean, i haven't. But whatever, i had a blast. best time i've ever had at a concert.

despite the fact that it was your first show it shouldn't matter. the band cant do exactly what everyone in the audience wants. i think the fact that you got to seem them at all should be enough, no matter what they play. i dont think they "fucked" you at all. especially if it was the best time you ever had at a concert

Probably because a full fledged two step jam didn't fit in. i personally like the 6 minute studio version better live. you get two step and like 3 other songs that a full jam would take up.

yes, i agree. i'd rather hear a version of two step like the one on folsom field.
its a greats song with or without a 15 minute jam, but you also get 2 or 3 other songs instead of a huge jam
