Critiques - What's the deal?

Whew!!!! Just wanted to make sure, now I feel like an idiot. Anyway, we should develop some kind of "council" that would include a whole bunch of people that would critique and rate cover songs that people post, and just make one big post with everyones in it. I dunno if this would really happen, but it could be kinda cool. But, everyone in this "council" would have to write critiques in order to ensure people being heard. Just a thought....Peace

not a good idea because i feel that everyone should be able to give an opinion and would not feel comfortable being in or being rejected from said "council"

not sure yet...been busy.....i'll figure something out tonight...i tried one but screwed it up and lost interest in it....

Huh?!?!?! Am I being misinterpreted or something???? Or did someone mean to say someone else????? I'm just really confused and not yet mad because I think there is a misunderstanding. But, I'm trying to figure out how someone is pointing their finger at me like cave said. Actually BigSpeen, I did have the right person. Lets not make a big deal out of this, but you totally got all bent because the guy got a critique or two that wasn't all hugs and kisses. The first review was a dickhead one( "I'm not gonna touch this one"), but the next one from gregplaysguitar was a solid review, even though it was pointing out many mistakes made by the guy who posted the song. I never heard the posts, he took them down after the first 2 reviews came in. But don't you think saying "anyone who gave him bad feedback is an idiot....and must have huuuuuuuge egos or never picked up a guitar before" is a bit over the top? I've heard greg before and he knows how to play. I've read other reviews by Greg and he's not one to bash for the hell of it. He gave a good critique....I see no problem with it. I'm willing to bet the guy who posted the songs probably took a step back and re-evaluated his abilities. Hopefully he's practicing more and this will have all been something he needed. Again, I've never heard him playand have no idea how good or bad he is, I'm just going by the reviews that were given.
