Ok so if you capo the 8th fret and play e pentationic blues scale form what key are you in?

ok thats what i though but why does my key of c harmonica sound like it dont fit with it.?
El Degas Mt8, Yamaha FG-403ms.

so can one person play a chord progression using normal chords ( no capo ) in the key of c and one person capo the 8 and play on the e min position scale in the key of c and jam together?

Make sure your playing in a minor or blues tonality and not major. I don't know anything about the harmonica so I can't help you too much.

thats because the C pentatonic you are playing at the 8th fret is minor. your harmonica is tuned to C major

in my opinion they are a waste. way too hard to play and not really at all better. if a song changes keys, just swap harps. but yes sir, FJ, they are monsters.
