some of my covers

Post by schmitty5 »

hey whats up, this is my first time on the board. well i've been doing a little recording the last couple weeks and decided to put it up on a website. i have what i think is my best from each artist i've done - dave, mayer, howie, mraz. i think of myself as a guitar player first and not as a singer so thats a little weak i think. some feedback would be appreciated. thanks

most of the guitar is very good, but the singing...well, it sounds like you're like talking in a deep scary voice. BUT KEEP PRACTICING...I'm in the same boat man, I can sing for beans.

Maybe you should try playing the songs in a key that's more comfortable for you. It may be a little hard to figure out, but it could be worth it. It's also hard to tell if your singing or whispering....if you get more air behind your voice you might be able to sing higher/louder. Lessons might help you a bunch.

Otherwise, the guitar is solid.
