Guitar sounds good. You could use some work on your singing though. It sounds like your not singing natural. It's hard to explain but it sounds like your trying to make your voice sound like it doesn't. this probably didn't help but good job overall
about that seducing comment, not cool at all. A simple "you're not singing naturally" or "you should get more confident with your voice" would have been wonderful, hell, I would have even gone for "stop singing until you get better", but instead you chose to be a dick. thanks dude. I don't know if you were trying to be funny or clever or whatever. No more comment.

Critiquing is Critiquing dude, dont get offended. Hes jus tellin it like it is, it was a lil vulgar but I bet you have some balls now since your grew'em (a lil bassist humor) But it sounded good, guitars on, vocals are a lil off, not entirely, jus work brotha.
The guitar isn't bad at all, I'd have to agree the vocals are the problem. You were trying to add some style of your own which is good, it's just that you can put too much of a whisper tone and I think it throws thing off. If you try that kind of vocal tone make it breathier so it projects more. JMO
Ok, sweet, help me out here a little...whisper tone, do you mean I'm trailing off at the end of phrases, or that it's breathy in general? I listened to the first version and I wasnt really projecting it at all...which I did this time, so it's something else. I'm out of key in certain parts (walking by the water, to my ankle to my head), but is my pitch the problem? or is it a voice timbre issue?

Hey, would you mind giving me an example of when I 'whisper' so I can know what you mean? I'm listening to it and I can see some points where I do a short pause, but I dont know about a whisper...anyways, let me know so I can work on it.
P.S. thanks for the comments, they were helpful

When I say whisper, I mean overall vocal tone. If you raise your voice up just slightly it will still have the effect of a breathy tone you are looking for, just without it sounding like a whisper as much.
Trying to sing in a sensitive Dave fashion is a train wreck in general dude. The guitar was great. You may just not be able to sing in the same keys Dave can. I can't. Not many people can.
Guitar was pretty good. good rhythm...Vocals seemed like they were too breathy and not enough volume...lord knows we all need to work on that. BTW, you might want to get rid of that power tool going off in the background, and the clock as well. Unless you were adding your own flava. Peace.
Haha, yeah that power tool was a pain in the ass, it started going off after I started recording and I was just like "fuck it"...and the clock is actually my computer thinking about recording, and the processor running...that'll be fixed when I actually start using a mic, as opposed to my little laptop mic...which might also be the problem with the vocal volume, my guitar is next to the mic while my mouth is kind of far away...thanks man
