just curious as to which songs made y'all fall in love with their music
my brother was a fan and told me to download some of their stuff to see if i liked it, for some reason i like to download videos instead of music so i got "all along the watchtower" from woodstock....
my bro and sis were listening to crash in the car (this was when i was in 4th grade....i'm 14 now in ninth grade. you guys do the math.) and i heard that beautiful track. i listened to it on repeat. every time we'd get in the car, straight to track 9. hhaha. then i discovered the rest of the CD............

I first heard DMB pretty late on...being from England. I spent a year in PA back in '98, and heard Crush in a friends car...I thought: mmmmm...that's smooth..
My buddies listened to it alot in college and i would put on the big ones "Ants" etc. But one day drinking i heard Satellite and the "Winters cold....Spring erases" I was hooked.
when i was pretty young (4th grade?), i had a babysitter that would come to our house while my parents were at work. we went somewhere in her stick shift convertable (she let me shift it sometimes) and ants marching came on the radio. she said that i would probably like the band, so she got me under the table and dreaming. i listened to that cd non stop. it was the only cd i listened to for about a year. a few years later, i was on my friends moter boat, and he was playing before those crowded streets, and i decided i should just get the rest of the albums. when i turned 16, my parents bought me a guitar, and my passion for dave's music rocketed.
i'd never head any of daves songs, and i could pick a free CD so i got crash. i heard that song and put it on repeat for a long time, then got into the rest of the CD. then i bought all of albums, i now have a nice 285 dave CD collection and play guitar, i'm hooked

i listened to my dad playing crash in the car....and too much was always the song i recognized/liked the most..i was like 'dad which one's that eat too much drink too much song?' then he burned it for me...and here i am.
I think I would have to say One Sweet World. I had listen to DMB for a while but that song put me over the top. I used to listen to this one live version over and over and then after that I just started to love all of their music.

If you think you're so tough, why don't you put on a jersey?
i had crash for years but i wouldnt have called myself a "dave fan" i guess... until i got to college and my friends suggested L@LC- Warehouse from Live at Luther got me completely hooked and about 300 cd's and a guitar later, i'm much happier
When 'What Would You Say' started getting radio play, I was on my way to work and I was in the middle of a very busy intersection making a left turn, when 'WWYS' came on. I had heard parts of it here and there, for about a week or two prior. I slammed on the brakes and listened to it so I could catch the artists name. Having not got my ass killed, I heard the DJ say the Dave Matthews Band. That night when I got off work (about 12am), I went to the Super Wally World and bought the CD and have been hooked ever since.
